Emotions

Thoughts are living things, light flashes, light impulses on the brain. These light impulses are made up of a very rare and fine matter that has weight and can be detected by a very sensitive instrument. At Duke University they had a person touch an instrument and think a certain thought and the instrument began to register. So you can measure the power of your thoughts. With this knowledge we begin to understand that thoughts are THINGS, LIVING THINGS. They are made of a material form though much more rare in nature and construction than our material body.

These thought forms remain in or near the action field of the person who entertains these thoughts. They unite with forms of the same kind. If all of us could hold the same thought, that thought would increase in strength. I would call these thoughts beings. NOW PAY ATTENTION!!! They are like small clouds all around us. Being that thoughts are living things, living in a cloud form, they need to be fed. We need to understand that thoughts are living entities of a definite order and class. They depend on the light power of the brain in which they originated. These beings with there force will intrigue, if allowed, even compel their creator to maintain them with the same thought power out of which they were created. I will try to describe to you the way in which this compulsion is carried out by the offspring of your thoughts.

If you have a certain idea and keep thinking about this idea, you create what we call an elemental. These elementals are all around you. If these thoughts are fortified by the accumulation of other thoughts, this particular thought becomes a living thing, then turns on you and causes you to do what you are thinking. Are we not creators of our destiny, or not??? NOW PAY ATTENTION!!! When a human being sur comes to this very natural compulsion, and this is done almost hourly, then from these mental clouds circulating within the field we can see forms arise. The most expressive outer characteristic of which are the eyes. And according to the measure the form is being mentally fed. Once the elementals are formed, if constantly being fed by one or more, it's eyes emanate a powerful paralyzing influence ever increasing in force. The human being, hypnotized by its own mental offspring, the person in question is driven to action and a series of actions and thereby is driven into slavery by its own elemental. "Know ye not that ye are creators?" Many times people have said I don't know what made me do or say it. It was your own thought creation, either conscientiously or sub conscientiously. You created an elemental by your thinking, you fed it, it became a living thing and started to influence you. "YOUR OWN CREATION." In this way, all of us in the course of ages & ages have become slaves of our own delusions, of our prejudices, preconceived ideas, dogmas, vices and superstitions which have taken shape in our field of restoration through the working of our own thoughts and which we have kept up, which we fed until they finally began to dominate us. The cloud that I spoke of earlier, starts on the right side of the body at the level of the solar plexus, ascends to the top of the head, then descends the left side of the body and disappears at the solar plexus.

How often have we heard someone say, "I would like to change myself, but I can't do it."? The life conduct that we often regret and which we quite often, powerlessly resist, the attitude of life which often embitters our life, because we grow disgusted with ourselves and because we are in danger of losing our self-respect, is a result of the compulsion that is emanating from our wrong thinking habits, due to our own mental process. Does it pay to think good thoughts?

Mankind is ill, fatally ill. Mankind is a victim of its own creative passions and there is no earthly man to whom this statement does not apply. The fact that second to second man abuses the creative facility of his brain, (does not think right) causes him or her to feel helpless and at the mercy of the events in their life.

How many times have people said "I don't do the things I want, but I do the things I hate."?
